Autumn Primark Try-On Haul

Blouse: £8
 Printed Trousers: £9
Cardigan: £7, Leggings: £5, Top: £3, Boots: £15

Hello beautiful people, so I've been ill quite a bit recently and even writing this I now have a cold. So when I found myself in high spirits at my local high street I knew I had to make the most of the opportunity. Therefore I did my rounds in Primark....as shown I picked up quite a few things, in addition I also got pajama bottoms, jewelry, another top, socks/knickers, and a cosy blanket, that I didn't manage to show. My boyfriend was patient enough to wait for me while I tried it all on, but that's because he was the last one to go shopping and I had to wait for him! But he doesn't mind waiting :)

The top is a novelty as I'm going fright night on satSaturday wanted something Halloween themed to wear along. Also I'll be pumpkin carving with my boyfriend on Thursday so that I can make my mum's special recipe Pumpkin Soup which I've previously blogged about. If you've been a follower for a while then I'd like to say thank you as I know I had disappeared out of the blogging world since starting sixth form last year, but that's due to being so busy and tied down with work. I do love blogging so when I find the time I will try and post and I hope I get back into a routine someday soon.

Lots of love...

Life choices

Well damn, that time has come when everyone around me is becoming an adult. I always used to think when I was little that this day would never come that even being 16 would take forever. Then BAM, you find yourself worrying about money, trying to find a job, growing to grown up parties, dealing with more complicated relationships, and finding yourself surrounded by miserable people. I take it back the adults were correct, we should never have wished to grow up, why on earth would any child want to do that? But that's exactly what we did, and now that it's official we don't know what to do with ourselves.

I'm still 17, I have till next year before the big number, however my boyfriend just turned 18 this weekend. He's the first person close to me to turn the big one eight, and the weirdest thing? It felt completely normal. But this is what people do, they count down their birthdays, look forward to reaching the next big number worth a big celebration. Then you realise you're only counting down your days, and that's not worth celebrating is it?

Just like many other young adults I have a part time job while studying for my A levels. A job that I have grown to hate, and will have to do the inevitable of resigning to my first job (a scary thought). Like many others, I change my mind on what I want to do. Right now I am thinking of doing a higher apprenticeship when I leave school, but the next 12 months will be slow till then. After that, who knows? we say things that we hope, we all have our dreams, but they change often and then you don't know what you want.

At the end of the day, make sure you do something you love. Don't worry about money, no matter how little you have, because that's not what matters, your happiness is, and you happiness shouldn't be determined by your wealth or the happiness of others. Make decisions good and bad, and don't regret them as you chose them for a reason. Just remember this is your only life so do whatever you want with it.

Good luck!

Back To School: Stationary Haul

2 Ring Binders at 50p each, 3 Document wallets at 80p each (3 for 2)
Index cards at 75p each, note tabs 50p, eraser 20p
3 notepads for 50p each, 2 packs of dividers for 50p each
Both rulers 35p, correction fluid £1, mini sticky notes 85p, pens for 28p
Diary for 99p

Yesterday I headed for Wilkinson to stock up on some stationary for the start of school. I'll be going into year 13 so I already have a lot of things such as pencil cases, pens, pencils, highlighters, but I made sure to stock up on some other bits to help me on my way. For me I find there aren't many Wilkinson stores so they are hard to access, yet I find it worth making a day of as I ended up buying some beauty bits too. I haven't entirely made up my mind on what to take for next year but I'm thinking Geography, Biology, and Photography. This is the first year I got myself a diary, my school gives us one, but its usually dull and I never look at it so I thought I ought to buy something that I like. I first looked in Wilkinson, however they had the smallest selection after I spent 10mins trying to find them. I ended up picking this up in the 99p store as I thought I couldn't go wrong at that price. I like the layout of it as it has two days per page instead of a week in two pages, giving more space to write and it includes weekends, I'm hoping it helps keep me organised.

I enjoy reading/watching stationary hauls so make sure to leave a comment below with yours. Also if you're interested in what grades I got in year 12 and my advice for starting sixth form then head over here to watch my video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oaq5X3y6Mg
